Way back in 1979, when leisure suits were the fashion rage and “We Are Family” by Sister Sledge topped the Billboard charts, a husband-and-wife team established Projections with a vision to produce resources that facilitated the development of authentic connections between employers and employees.
We entered into a new era of technology and production capabilities in the 80s, and transitioned clients from using multi-image slide shows (our namesake) to video. At the same time, we began producing in a variety of languages- Spanish, Chinese, Vietnamese, French, Japanese, Polish, Haitian Creole, Hmong, Bengali, and Punjabi, just to name a few.
While the Spice Girls were taking center stage, The Projections team got creative again with the first employee-facing website for communicating in a union campaign, our UnionFree.com platform, in 1999. Continuing to iterate and innovate, the leader-facing LaborLook.com sites were born shortly thereafter. By the time Y2K was scheduled to end the world, Projections was producing interactive eLearning for companies like Adobe and Sony. (Coincidentally - or maybe not - Business Continuity and Disaster Preparedness were our award-winning productions that year!)
